This is your one stop shop for FREE community courses!

The Wellbeing College has online and face to face courses, some are delivered directly by the Wellbeing College and some by our 3rd sector colleagues.

We hope that you find something to inspire you to support your wellbeing.

Woodland Connect SPACES STILL AVAILABLE!

This funded wellbeing course from Ecowild is to support your physical and mental health through nourishing practices in nature. A simple and accessible way to feel good, recover from the effects of the pandemic, and feel restored. If you would like to talk to us about any concerns or questions you have please request a call on the booking form.

The morning will involve active practice such as a walk, gentle stretching, and also a mindful practice. There will be opportunity for discussion and reflection.

The afternoon will be for creative practice, including natural art and craft. Or you can take a guided wildlife and foraging walk to learn more about the plants, trees and animals in the area.

There is no obligation to take part in anything, you can see how you feel on the day.

If you are unable to come please let us know so we may offer the place to others. Given Covid restrictions, there are just 6 spaces.

We will maintain social distancing at all times, and touch points will be cleaned regularly. Please follow government guidelines on hand washing and hygiene.

As you would expect we would ask you not to attend if you have any symptoms of Covid19 or have been in touch with anyone who has symptoms or a positive test result

Under current guidelines: "Support groups that have to be delivered in person can continue with up to 15 participants where formally organised to provide mutual aid, therapy or any other form of support - but they must take place at a premises other than a private home."

Instructions

Please dress to be outside in all weathers. We will have the Somer Centre available for use during heavy rain and for toilet facilities, and otherwise will intend to be outside as much as possible. There is stone seating available and you may also bring a camp chair if you would prefer.

Please note that clicking the book here button it will take you to a third party website.
