This funded wellbeing course from Ecowild is to support your physical and mental health through nourishing practices in nature. A simple and accessible way to feel good, recover from the effects of the pandemic, and feel restored. Held at the Roundhouse in Greyfields Woods, you will be surrounded by natural beauty. We will cultivate habits of awareness and noticing the natural world, and share our thorughts in the group
The morning will involve active practice such as a foraging walk, treeyoga and also mindful practice. There will be opportunity for discussion and reflection.
We will have an hour for lunch so please bring a packed lunch and your own mug for hot drinks.
The afternoon will be for creative practice, including a variety of nature crafts for example willow weaving, clay leaf prints, charcoal makinig, earth art or wool craft.
There is no expectation of how much you participate in any activity offered, you can see how you feel on the day and just observe if preferred.
As you would expect we would ask you not to attend if you have any symptoms of Covid19 or have been in touch with anyone who has symptoms or a positive test result
Please dress to be outside in all weathers with warm layers. Bring a blanket if you would like for meditation. We have a shelter and fire for when needed, and a kettle for hot drinks.
