 The Wellbeing College has online and face to face courses, some are delivered directly by the Wellbeing College and some by our 3rd sector colleagues.

The Young Adults Guide to Mental Strength SPACES STILL AVAILABLE!

Does the world stress you out?  Or maybe sometimes you feel like things just don’t feel right?

This free six week course, brought to you in partnership by Bath Mind and Soul Spa, is aimed at helping young people age 16-25 to understand why the teenage and young adult years can be so tricky to negotiate.  Packed with information about what’s actually happening in your brain, skills you can learn to make life run a whole lot smoother and in-class experiences that can genuinely make a difference to how you feel.

Some of the topics covered are:

  •  Identify your main issues and frame them so they don’t control you.
  • What is different about a young adult brain?
  • What’s the difference between stress and anxiety, where do they come from and what can we do about them.
  • Hacks and proven techniques to improve your mental strength and resilience.
  • Why are your beliefs about yourself important and how can we make sure they make you feel better and not worse?
  • The future – dare to dream!

Each session will consist of information about the topic, a simple, helpful technique you can use in life and a mental relaxation session to help you find your inner resources and strength.
