Introduction to Meditation with Sandhya - Wellbeing College

If you think your mind won’t stay quiet then this meditation course is for you.

You will learn  different styles of meditation so you can find a meditation that suits you. The course will also include relaxation exercises and stress busting techniques to help improve your focus.

Did you know A new study has suggested that an average person has 6,200 thoughts per day!. Sandhya says it is totally normal to have so many thoughts whilst meditating, in this course you will learn how to accept the thoughts in your meditation practice.

 Below is an idea of the type of meditations we will cover:

  • breathing meditation.
  • focused meditation.
  • movement meditation.
  • mantra meditation.
  • progressive relaxation.
  • loving-kindness meditation.
  • sound meditation

You will need: A notepad and a pen, a comfortable cushion and a yoga/ pilates mat and blanket for relaxation.

This course will be run by Sandhya Coyle www.sandhyacoyle.org who is a Yoga, Pilates and Meditation teacher
