The practice of this Tai Chi will revive your energy, increase your mobility and that of your joints, increase your sense of balance and calm the agitate mind helping you sleep better.
Tai Chi is the art of gentle movement, in a repetitive form and shape, whilst the mind and attention are focused on the movement.
Five Element Tai Chi brings the ancient Eastern concept of the Five Elements, the 12 Acupuncture meridians ( flows of energy) and the focused meditational concentration of the mind into one series of movements.
Huw will explain the Five Elements and their associations and how they can be recognised and linked to different parts of the body.
Huw will also introduce the acupuncture meridians ( Huw has been an acupuncturist for 30 yrs). And explain how they can effect your wellbeing on all levels, body mind and emotions.
The session is partitioned into 3 areas.
Introductory talk and sharing of the aspects of the movement and what they are good for and how to do them well.
